Heartland has clinics in Listowel, Mount Forest and Drayton, providing companion animal veterinary care in their Small Animal Hospital in each area and large animal services from their offices in Listowel and Mount Forest. They are a full service veterinary hospital, with 24-hour emergency service.
In addition to eight companion animal veterinarians and 11 large animal veterinarians, a number who have graduated from OVC’s Dairy Health Management Certificate Program, the practice is has a complement of animal health technicians and office staff.
Their small animal service includes routine and complex surgery, medical, wellness checks, emergency, nutrition and microchipping.
Large animal services cover dairy, beef and equine services including herd health, reproductive monitoring, embryo transfer, a complete udder health program, vaccination program development, fresh cow health monitoring, production analysis, calf and heifer rearing programs, cow comfort and barn design, and nutritional services for all classes of livestock, as well as equine dentistry, imaging (reproduction and lameness) and endoscopy.
